- Chicago, Seattle, Atlanta! Beginning on May 13th, Apple is offering free, in-depth seminars to demonstrate workflow and key features of Final Cut Studio 2, and the latest release of Final Cut Server. As part of the Final Cut World Tour 2008, you can register for any of the 15 global sessions that Apple is hosting to learn post-production techniques to enhance your content.
- Grand Central Studios, located in London's SOHO district, recently made an addition to their audio recording facilities in order to increase efficiency during sound to picture sessions. As a follow up to their pre-existing relationship with digital recording, Grand Central has installed Fairlight Pyxis, a stand-alone non-linear hard disk video system. Technical Director, Ivor Taylor, discusses the benefits of these recent additions here.
- As part of their professional Mac-user Profiles, Apple has featured the animation production company Rough Draft Studios - the creative team behind hit toons like Futurama, Drawn Together, and The Simpsons. Director of CGI and Chief Technology Officer, Scott Vanzo, explains why Apple's software has been instrumental in allowing Rough Draft's animators to create realistic and high quality work.
