I am a web analyst and artist working at IBM, currently measuring customer engagement and loyalty, the effectiveness of website architectural changes on site conversions and IBM's projects in Second Life 3D Virtual World. Some of past roles at IBM included providing US Homepage metrics to key marketing stakeholders, IBM Investor Relations Podcast Metrics, IBM Press room Metrics and Search Engine and keyword analysis.
Last year I started two blogs, webmetricsguru.com (web analytics), artnewyorkcity.com (New York art scene); in addition, I am a regular contributor for Smartmobs.com and Green Media's BiggreenBlog.com.
For several years I have been working with Robin Nobles and John Alexander at Searchengineworkshops.com for doing monthly online chats focusing on Advanced Search Engine Optimization, Blog Buzz, Link Building and Viral Marketing. I started my own SEO/SEM consultancy supporting many present and past clients such as Alan Mascord, Chaa Creek, Dooleys Vacations, Avatar New York, Discover Magazine that I have worked on for Search Optimization, Search Marketing and Social Media Marketing.
I believe my web analytics career, blog authoring, freelance SEO/SEM/Analytics work I do along with my painting form a synthesis; also, I'm running for a seat on the Board of the Web Analytics Association where I hope to work on RIA metrics standards (Flash & AJAX), 3D Virtual Worlds Metrics and Search Metrics.
I look forward to supplying readers of Zoom-In with unique insight to the newest and coolest developments in Web Technology, Web Analytics, Search Marketing and Art.
This week, I'll be sharing the most interesting developments and insights at Search Engine Strategies Conference in Manhattan.
