Do You Use Final Cut Pro? Don't Miss This First Look Run-Down of FCP6!

Steve Martin (a lead instructor for Apple's Certified Training program, not the wild and crazy comedian) has put together his new Final Cut Pro 6 run down/review for the Ken Stone site, and it just went up a day or two ago. You've got to check this out if you are going to be using FCP6 and want a running start.

As always, Martin's tour of Apple's new release of Final Cut Pro incredibly clearly laid out with screen shots and understandable descriptions, he looks closely at the open format timeline, the new process for easy setups, mixed format editing, using and modifying the new Motion templates in FCP, audio normalization and gain, improvements to OMF file exporting, improved integration into the whole Final Cut Studio suite, external HD video monitoring, Apple's new ProRes 422 codec, and the incredibly valuable SmoothCam feature which intelligently reduces unwanted camera movement from your shots using technology inherited from Shake.

I've been using Final Cut since version 1.0 and of all the releases since 2.0, I have never been more excited to get my hands on it. Anyone using it yet? Love to hear what your results are with SmoothCam and how the new Motion templates are in terms of customization.
