Contribute to the Green Ascent

This blog was contributed by Sara Felsenstein, ZIO Editorial Assistant.

So you already carry your coffee in a less-than-fashionable tumbler, trading in the Starbucks icon for sustainability. You don't leave your cell phone to charge overnight, and you pretty much have a full collection of Trader Joe's reusable bags. You even paid seven dollars for one of those trendy recycled-paper notebooks. What more can you do?

You can enter iida 2009, an international green design competition hosted by Incheon Metropolitan City, Korea. The subject is "green life" and the categories are:

1. green design for humans

2. city and green design

3. green design and communication

Deadline is August 25, so start scheming now!
