Design Evangelist Rufus Deuchler shows how you can save time when applying and editing fills, strokes, effects and more with the new Appearance panel in Illustrator CS4.

Watch as Rufus demonstrates how a complex bullet hole graphic that would take quite some time to make, is actually just a circle with a few styles attached! With the newly updated Appearance panel, he is able to simply toggle each style on and off, just like a layer.
