Ron Taylor will be inducted into the Fox Entertainment family this coming Monday.  He has been recognized for his multifaceted approach of identifying and developing scripts and will serve as vice president of diverse programming and content for Fox.  Taylor has been described as "'a key partner to [Fox's] programming team for many years and possesses a unique eye for strong, diverse writing and directing talent'" (courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter) by exec VP Matt Cherniss, who will announce Taylor's new position later next week. Cherniss sounds hopeful in the introduction of a new member to the team by going on to say that "by integrating diversity efforts more directly into our development process, Fox can deliver even more relatable, relevant shows to our viewers."  In the past, Taylor has been accredited for his work at UPN as one of the original creative execs, as well as at Columbia TriStar TV, Warner Bros., Disney and ABC.  Taylor also previously has had experience as vice president of diversity development for Fox Entertainment, but his new position will now bring him into Fox's actual program development team.
