We here at Zoom In Online realize that you probably spend so much time perusing our site that you may occasionally look up from your web browsing and notice that multiple days have passed. We appreciate that. While we can't make up for your lost days of work or missing your spouse's/friend's/relative's/child's birthday, we can update you on what you're missing in the outside world - what DVDs are being released, for instance. Check Zoom In Online every Tuesday to keep tabs on all the DVD and Blu-ray releases for the week.

Significant Titles Include:
Say Anything... 20th Anniversary Special Edition: "To know Lloyd Dobler is to love him. Diane Court is about to know Lloyd Dobler." 20 years after Lloyd Dobler (John Cusack) first stood outside Diane Court's (Ione Skye) window playing Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes," Say Anything has become the stuff of legends. Spawning a dedicated cult following and launching the career of Cameron Crowe, Say Anything is the quintessential 80's romantic-comedy that is still warming the cockles of our hearts two decades later. The DVD will feature the standard features - extended and deleted scenes, audio commentary by Cameron, Cusack and Skye, etc. - as well as two featurettes: "A Conversation with Cameron Crowe" and "I Love Say Anything...!" Blu-ray buyers can expect all this along with two exclusive featurettes: "An Iconic Film Revisited: Say Anything...20 Years Later" and "To Know Say Anything...is to Love It!" trivia track. Not included: a pen.

Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut:
If the 3-hour Director's Cut of Watchmen wasn't enough for you, perhaps the 3 and a half-hour Ultimate Cut will satisfy you. Featuring all the added scenes from the Director's Cut, the Ultimate Cut will also incorporate the 26 minute animated Tales of the Black Freighter into the final running time. But that's not all. No, that's not even the beginning of this mammoth release. Both the 5-disc DVD release and 4-disc Blu-ray release include a glutton's delight of special features with well over 3 hours of featurettes and a digital copy of the film. Anyone who got sucked in by the illusionary promises of the Maximum Movie Mode on the last Blu-ray release (like myself) will be happy to know that the Ultimate Cut features commentary by both Zack Snyder and Dave Gibbons. For the complete laundry list of special features, mosey on over to Slash Film.

DVD special features include deleted scenes, ABC News Nightline "You Are What You Eat": Food With Integrity, "The Amazing Food Detective" and "Snacktown Smackdown": Stay Active and Eat Healthy.
