- EditShare introduced Universal Media File, a new technology that creates a single media file which can be used in Avid and FCP. Finally, there's a way to use two distinctive systems without tying up ingest channels or creating multiple files of the same media.

- Learn more about choices for your own portable FCP workstation. Heath McKnight from MPS Digital Studios discusses available options using different models and gears.

- Having a short attention span may not be a disadvantage. Emmy Award Winning Video Editor Bill Cammack gives you FCP editing tips in 4 minute Film School. You can start watching from 2:00 onward or enjoy the whole episode!

- Besides the usual User Groups and Forums, you have a new resource to find the help that you need: Facebook. Read the story of Tracy Nesseth who recently joined to Facebook FCP group and found tips, tutorials and chat space.
