If you don’t yet know about Todd Howard’s newest creative endeavor, then consider yourself out of the loop. Inspired by the release of the fourth installment of the greatest archeological adventure hero saga ever, and fueled by the success of their previously released film tribute song “Farm Boy” the dynamic duo of Todd Howard and Glen Nelson (billed as High Adventure) once again dive into the oft-overlooked Film Tribute Song genre.

Logic 8.0.2 Update is available

Hot on the heels of the 8.0.1 release comes Logic 8.0.2 and another Waveburner update. Apple.com says that this update addresses several compatability issues as well as fixes to specific customer issues (they do listen!)

My software updater application picked it up this morning, and unlike 8.0.1, this install is quick and simple.

 

Here is all the info on 8.0.2:

 

Arrange window

-Copy and paste operations on audio regions create independent regions instead of clones.

-Channel strips of frozen tracks can now be copied.

T-Pain's Focus On Collaborations = 5 BET Award Nominations!

Past Rehearsal Space guest T-Pain is making headlines again today following the announcement of the 2008 BET Award nominees. Pain lead his peers with five nominations, topping Kanye West and Alicia Keys who each received three nods, and Mary J. Blige, Lil Wayne and Keyshia Cole who each took away two.

SFLogicNinja Logic Pro 8 Tip - Multi-Channel Output Software Instruments

This is a great tip from the Ninja. He explains how to work with virtual instruments that have the option of multi-channel outputs and he does it using Ultrabeat, which is something I have been getting a lot of requests for lately. I am planning a whole series of Ultrabeat quicktips, but for now, hopefully this whets your appitite.
