Billing themselves as "the only openly lesbian rap group", but what makes Yo Majesty unique hardly ends there.  Mixmag describes the trio as "punk-funk-crunk rap"; XLR8R declared them the "future of left-field hip hop"; NME Magazine dubbed them one of the "25 most exciting acts in America". Even Perez Hilton has had high praises for their single Booty Klap.

With punchy songs like Kryptonite Pussy and Twerk, Yo Majesty is making a name for themselves alongside acts like Salt-N-Pepa and Fannypack. Catch them on tour this summer throughout Europe. 

This week one-half of Yo Majesty, Shunka K, gives her reaction to our eleven questions.

Why da fuck you all in my business??? Naw, Im jus playing...some of everythang from Karen White to The Mighty Clouds of Joy!!!
