Zoom In Online’s original music series Rehearsal Space is combining forces with the Internet-based BreakThruRadio(BTR). Unlike other online radio stations which simply stream music, the BTR website features an award-winning player. It allows you to control what you listen to and how you listen to it. With new shows published every day, there is a lot to choose from.

BTR features music of all styles, but focuses on the most talented new artists around. Their knowledgeable DJs are given absolute freedom to play what they want, making it unique to most traditional radio stations these days.

The debut Rehearsal Space/BreakThruRadio collaboration features a favorite band of ours here at Zoom In – The Airborne Toxic Event. Already well known in their hometown of Los Angeles, they are beginning to make noise all around the country and in the UK.

When I saw them play New York City’s Pianos last month, the sold-out crowd was quiet at first, but by the end of their electric performance they were screaming for more. It’s the first time I’ve ever seen a crowd demand an encore from the opening band.
