Fredo Viola Is At It Again

Have you heard of Seattle-based creative fiend Fredo Viola? He makes some of the coolest music videos I have ever seen. His newest one is a "cluster video" for a song called "Moon After Berceuse" and it's absolutely beautiful. This one is a cluster duet, which in Fredoese means there are only two artists, but the number of times each artist appears is always different, and somewhere between three and ten. "Moon After Berceuse" one is upright bass and vocal, recorded at St. Peter's Church.

The first video I ever saw of Fredo's is called The Sad Song, and was made video was created entirely using 15 sec. jpg movies from his Nikon Coolpix 775 camera, then composited in After Effects. I watch it about once ever couple of months or so, sometimes I just need to see it again. The Sad Song was made maybe... five years ago? I can't remember exactly. And this past Christmas, I discovered he had done an outstanding version of Silent Night. Hope you enjoy his stuff as much as I do. His first official album release, on French music label Because Music, in mid 2008.
