Artist Networking Site Talenthouse to Launch Tomorrow

Attention, artists! Tomorrow brings the launch of Talenthouse, a site whose aim is to provide a global networking community for emerging and established artists. All facets of the art world are welcome — from photography to film to music to fashion. This platform allows artists to create profiles to showcase their work and strives to connect up-and-coming talent with industry luminaries.  The goal is to inspire multiple collaborations that the community can evaluate and vote upon, leading to recognition for the artists and projects that rise to the top.

If this sounds similar to other art networking websites, check out the video announcing the site — it really drives home their mission and what could set them apart from the rest.

Among many artists actively involved in Talenthouse by hosting “Creative Invitations,” are Dallas Austin, Veronica Webb and Fernando Meirelles. Exclusive to Talenthouse, a “Creative Invitation” acts as a stimulus for collaboration on an original project. The projects can be commissioned by any artists in the community or proposed by artists looking to work with each other.

Check back to the Talenthouse website tomorrow, or follow their updates on Twitter.

Yikes...

Let's get more artists to spend more time doing more spec work for free?
