Based in West Yorkshire, Pavilion leads projects to enhance photography culture though artists developing their work and showcasing it. They have an education program that focuses on outreach with disadvantaged youth and both virtual and tangible exhibitions in Leeds.
Pavilion got it's start as a feminist photography non-profit in 1983. In 1998, it widened it's audience by admitting men. Today, they focus on contemporary photography culture.

Their current exhibition, by Steffi Klenz, is a exploration of "works in progress." It explores the lapse between the blueprint and actualization of a structure.

The online gallery is worth a browse or two. I enjoyed the glimpse into Lydia Goldblatt's work titled And The Word Was God.
Providing a network for up and coming artists, having both an interesting online presence and plenty of exhibitions makes Pavilion.org.uk this week's awesome photography site.
