Interview with Nigel Ravenhill of ScanAlert

I met with Nigel of www.Hackersafe.com this evening and he had a lot of say about how ScanAlert addresses consumers concerns about transacting online; it's also good for lead generation. ScanAlert is serving 6 billion pageviews a month to sites that display it's HACKERSAFE Certification Mark to over 75,000 sites.

HACKERSAFE also has over half of the Internet Retailer 500 sites, such as Toshiba, Petco, Petsmart, FTD, Case Hardware, American Red Cross, etc. But it's not always about money, it's about protecting information (particularly for larger sites) while the smaller sites are about Marketing ROI. In the case of a site like American Red Cross, mostly non-profit for donations, using HACKERSAFE Certification Mark increased donations by 14.7%. You can actually see the testamonial to this fact.

There are also several testimonials on the homepage of ScanAlert.

I'm convinced of the SEO benefit because you get 3 links from PR6 - PR8 authority site and one PR 7 reciprocal on each retailers site.

It's great to talk to Nigel Ravenhill tonight and I'm glad me and I think we can talk more about Art and Technology after we get kicked out of the Press Room.
