I caught the very end of the keynote presentation with Steve Berkowitz Senior Vice President of Microsoft's Online Services Group, which includes MSN and Windows Live this morning. Exhausted from last night's exclusive SES party .

Microsoft came into Search late (which is generally known - nothing new here) and they're trying to catch up) and that's pretty much what his message was. After the keynote I asked a couple of people straggling along in the Grand Ballroom on the 3rd floor of the Hilton if they thought that Steve Berkowitz said anything of substance ... and they said ...no.

However, Microsoft Live did win the top prize in my exclusive party last night. Typically, you don't get much information of substance in a keynote.
