Euphonix Tutorial: Working in Ultrabeat with Vincent di Pasquale and the Euphonix Artist Series
This week we continue our publication of Euphonix's tutorial videos featuring Vincent di Pasquale, the Artist Series Controllers, and Logic Pro 8.
Euphonix Artist Series & Logic Pro - Part 2 of 5 - Ultrabeat
Euphonix Users: Routing Ultrabeat's multiple outputs to separate channels in the mix window is a crucial step for some producers when it comes to mixing and effecting drums. It can also be a mousing around nightmare in selecting outputs, assigning effects, and creating independent mixes. Vincent shows you how you can use the soft knobs on the MC Control to take the mouse almost completely out of play in this process.
Logic Users: Pay attention, because in going thru the process of breaking out multiple outputs in Ultrabeat, Vincent also open up and allows you to see some of his go to tricks for mixing his signature drum sounds, including dialing in a delay on a snare drum and rolling of the low end to create a super punchy kick drum sound.
