Euphonix Tutorial: Using Layouts with Vincent di Pasquale and the Euphonix Artist Series

In this fifth and final tip from producer Vincent di Pasquale, we wrap up the first set of tutorials featuring the Euphonix Artist Series Controllers and Logic Pro 8.

Euphonix Artist Series & Logic Pro - Part 5 of 5 - Layouts

Euphonix Users: This is a great time saving tip for Artist Series users when you are approaching the final mix of a large project. By setting up recallable layouts, you can jump to and from points of interest like drum groups, master output channels, or individual sets of channels without having to page thru track after track to find what you are looking for.

Logic Users: Unfortunately, there isn't a lot that Euphonix Layouts have to do with actually working in Logic unless you have one. But one thing you can take away from this video is a brief description of how Vincent groups together his tracks for sub-groups and bussing. By segregating various elements of your mix into sub-groups you are able to control overall elements of your mix relative to one and other quickly and easily.
