Creative Backstory: Frame by Frame

In this episode of the Creative Backstory, we present five new talents from the Art Directors Club Young Guns Series: designer and director, Asif Mian, whose work includes directing music videos for major hip-hop artists like The Roots and Aesop Rock; Christopher Lane, a Brit-born photographer whose work includes his often absurd takes on American culture ; Justin Gignac, founder of NYC Garbage; and Cassandra Warner & Jeremy Floto, a photography team focused on the stark beauty of modern photography. Each of the featured artists discusses what motivates their artwork, their different approaches, and how their creative eye enables them to produce something visually extraordinary out of the everyday.
