In this episode of Designing Minds, Zoom In Online’s Matthew McNerney sits down with an old boss and mentor, Howard Levy, Principle of Red Rooster Group. Red Rooster considers itself a different kind of marketing design firm. Their philosophy of “Design for a Better World” leads them to promote businesses, organizations and causes that make the world a better place. Their extensive client list includes The American Cancer Society, D.A.R.E., The Ronald McDonald House, Earth Action, ProLiteracy International, The Center for Nonprofit Corporations and Americans to Counter Terrorism. Matthew and Howard discuss the role of design, and how Howard uses his career as a vehicle to express his ideals. Howard’s extensive work with nonprofits enables him to share tremendous insight into this important and often underserved sector. He goes on to summarize four projects which offer lessons for the budding designer. Credits: Production Assistance: Christopher Conry
