Zoom-In Online is proud to present Meet the Artists, a production of the Sundance Institute, featuring conversations with some of the filmmakers showcasing their work at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. Through her documentary, Traces of the Trade: Stories of the Deep North, filmmaker Katrina Browne takes us along as she discovers the many layers to her ancestors' involvements with the slave trade and the ways in which this discovery has impacted her own thoughts about her family, as well as her perspective on present day slave reparations.
