(Los Angeles, CA – October 14, 2009) INTERVIEW PROJECT, a 121 part documentary series, presented by legendary filmmaker David Lynch, is going to launch a new community blog to supplement the series on October 20, 2009. The new Interview Project blog will incorporate and support top social networking sites, including Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter, allowing fans of Interview Project to become members and upload and share their own original content.
The Interview Project blog will be launched the same day one of their most exciting episodes goes live: Clinton from Fayetteville, WV. As fans visit the site to begin adding their own content in the spirit of Interview Project, they will have the opportunity to see one of the most interesting subjects in the series for the first time ever.
Lynch dispatched a team of filmmakers on an extensive road trip across the U.S. to capture a portrait of every day Americans. The team met people from all walks of life and filmed the ups and downs of the human experience through brief, but meaningful interviews. The personal stories revealed by the interview subjects are shocking, hilarious, and heartbreaking. The team was lead by filmmakers Austin Lynch and Jason S.
INTERVIEW PROJECT debuted at interviewproject.davidlynch.com on June 1, 2009. New episodes are uploaded every three days. Several videos from Interview Project screened at the 2009 Telluride Film Festival.
