It’s time to get into the spirit of Halloween and here at Zoom In Online we’ve got some On the Circuit episodes to whet your palette. First up, Jim Rohner talked to Swedish director Tomas Alfredson about his film Let the Right One In, in which a twelve-year old boy named Oskar finds solace from his broken home and bullied school life in Eli, a young girl who moves into his apartment complex. The problem is Eli is not a young girl – she’s a vampire. Opening on October 24th, Let the Right One In is a beautiful tale of youthful innocence and romance devoid of distracting sexuality and mindless violence. Listen here as Alfredson elaborates on what drew him to a story he describes as “both grand literature and a fantastic drama.” For more episodes of On the Circuit, click here.
