Zoom In Online’s Megan Cunningham met with Alec Little, Senior Product Manager at Apple, to discuss Logic Studio’s new application, MainStage. Recognizing the difficulty many performers experience in transferring the great sound that they create in the studio to the stage during live performances, Apple developed a simplified and customizable interface allowing performers to focus on their music while performing, instead of the various technical issues and effects. By following their mantra of “pushing software out of the creative process”, Apple created a program that offers users the ability to create highly innovative sounds without complicated stage setups.
