The Icograda endorsed event, the first Chicago International Poster Biennial Exhibition, featured almost 100 designers, selected from over 1,600 total entries and was located outdoors in Daley Bicentennial Plaza, part of Grant Park on Chicago's beautiful lakefront.

The setting was spectacular, as was the design work.

The AGI conference was being held at the same time at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and many great poster designers, including Uwe Loesch and Niklaus Troxler were able to view the Biennial during the event.

The conference invited international corporate, design and academic leaders to present findings in the field of Participatory Design. DTP Tools today announced the release of the first 6 plug-ins supporting InDesign CS4. Users of InDesign CS4 beta can now use DTP Tools plug-ins and also start migrating their documents created with previous versions of InDesign. Documents with multiple page sizes created with InDesign CS, CS2 and CS3 Page Control, documents containing History versions from CS-CS3, Documents utilizing Layer Comps and Layer Groups, and documents using Cross-References can now be fully used in InDesign CS4.
