Apple's Logic Pro 7.1 is a deep, feature-packed software package that has been embraced by music professionals of all stripes. Logic's powerful and customizable interface, and its unparalled assortment of software instruments and effects processors can be daunting. In Inside Logic Pro 7.1, Jonathan Perl provides a comprehensive overview and detailed orientation to the software, suitable for both new users and professionals alike.
He will take you through the techniques used to create a music project, and edit and optimize MIDI and audio tracks, while teaching you to understand and effectively utilize Logic's Instruments, Mixer and effects. A final lesson takes you through a variety of common techniques used when providing underscore and effects for video projects.

He is the founder of the New York City Logic Pro Users Group, and is the co-founder of Mac Audio Trainers, which offers Logic certification courses, customized classroom training, and private instruction. He is the Associate Director of the Sonic Arts Center at The City College of New York, where he has shaped the growth and direction of a unique 4-year BFA training program in Music and Technology, offered to a select group of talented young producers from around the world.
