Where to Find the Best Music Videos on the Web

Ever since the likes of Michel Gondry went from directing music videos to directing feature films, we've seen an increasing number of innovative music videos.

My favorite site to keep up on the best new releases is videos.antville.org. Directors often embed their own videos to the site to receive feedback from the often-vocal commenters.

Spotify - The Most Exciting Thing on the Internet Since YouTube?

Today NME.com ran a story about Spotify, a new and legal online music service that, they say, "offers users unlimited music for free." Sounds too good to be true, right? Apparently not. Everyone I know who's tried it says it's every bit as wonderful as you can imagine.

Spotify is made to look like iTunes, but you can stream full length songs for free rather than pay to download them.

'The Dark Knight' Blu-ray Already Ruling the World

Here in the good ol' U.S. of A., we're going through a bit of recession, though you wouldn't know it if you were judging by the money people are dropping on The Dark Knight. Not only has the film become the highest grossing motion picture of the year (and second highest grosser in history), but after only one week of release it has ALREADY become the top-selling DVD of 2008.

MGM Flicks to Play in Entirety on YouTube

As a child, I was promised many things about the future. Flying cars, communities on the moon, and talking robot servants were all flights on fancy that my young adult eyes have yet to see come to fruition. For those of you more grounded in reality who may have dreamt that the future will hold free movies and TV shows played in their entirety online, then MGM and YouTube are making your dreams come true. Variety reports that "[the] venerable studio, eager to monetize its library however possible, will allow YouTube to stream certain MGM pics and TV skeins in their entirety in exchange for ad coin."
