SFLogicNinja Tips: The Transform Window

The Transform Window is a great tool in Logic Pro 8 that allows you to manipulate all sorts of parameters of a MIDI performance. Dave takes us thru a lot of the control options and illustrates the effects they have on MIDI notes. He dives in a little on some of the specific controls, but also highlights the use of default presets that can humanize, or otherwise control a simple MIDI region.

There is also some stuff about a live chat, but since this tip was made some time ago, you can just ignore that part.

Enjoy!

SFLogicNinja Tips: Stutter Editing aka Chopped and Screwed

Dave calls this set of tips the S-S-Stutter method of editing or Glitching, but it seems to me like more of a simplified version of the classic Chopped and Screwed remix method. This is a great tutorial pair that covers lots of little audio manipulation tips that are great for creating unique effects and transitions.

Euphonix Tutorial: Editing Drums with Vincent di Pasquale and the Euphonix Artist Series

One of the most impressive items that has come to light in 2008 has to be the Artist Series controllers from Euphonix. The MC Mix and MC Control made a huge splash at NAMM and rode high on that wave all year long, showing no signs of slowing down. Just within the past month announcements have come out regarding more manufacturers integrating the controller's EuCon protocol for communication into their products.
