Checking out the Technology/Apple most popular stories page on Digg.com this morning, I saw a link to a story that FreshPilot posteda blog about new gadgets, gear and styleshowing a YouTube ad of this funny old Apple television spot, circa '89.
Just in case there are any of you who, like me, did not catch the Oscars broadcast last night and haven't seen the new iPhone commercial that aired, I thought I'd toss a link up here... also it was a great excuse to put a JPG of The Dude in a post here on Zoom In.
I dedicate this post to those who are depressed, impatient, disappointed or frustrated about the lack of mass-market adoption and real business models of podcasts, videoblogs, internet video and everything else in Web 2.0 that's been prematurely hyped, but which still is an undeniable media industry trend.

Though the business geek in my cringes to say it, I don't think in-game advertising is worth a dime, at least not in its current form. Google just formalized its deal to buy Adscape following Microsoft's lead with Massive Incorporated. The problem is most of what I see in-game is ineffectual, and honestly, really uninspired.
